When it comes to their consumers, The Dr. Martens brand stands for self-expression and breaking from the norm. When choosing the new tagline, "Stand For Something," I wanted to highlight these values as a way to encourage consumers to do the same. Dr. Martens' classic shoe has developed over decades into many diverse shapes and styles. Consumers choosing a shoe that feels true to their style can serve as a first step in expressing and empowering themselves.

When deciding on the color pallete and typography for this rebrand, the most important thing was to keep the aspects of the brand that are so well-known.
